I found all these post quite silly. Im so sick of ppl sayin oh Sarah re-energized a party that is her own with the same lies she been telling since she was picked. First of all it was really pathetic how she came out attacking Obama using the same old dried lies McCain told. She said NOTHING of her experience, of her policies, or on what she can do for America. All these ppl in favor of Palin keep saying, “oh i like palin, she’s a mother, she’s charasmatic, etc” No one ever says oh i like her cuz of her policy on this or that. For one Palin hasn’t even sat down and told exactly what her views are. Have you ppl heard her lately on interviews????? yet U criticize Obama. more experience or not sweethearts, obama knows the issues and his position on them and atleast he’s able to articulate them in a graceful intelligent manner something palin has yet to do. SO FYI “she has a good personailty or she’s a mother” DOES NOT QUALIFY HER TO BE VICE PREZ OR PREZ.

Do you “God didn’t create the universe” folks have a better explanation than everything just “popped into being” with all of the obvious order and complexity?

Are you also challenged by “when life begins” like Obama? Do you think the stork brings babies?

You don’t need to go to church to know you kill a baby when you have an abortion, even a simple minded atheist should know that.

I’m amazed at these comments here. Voices without votes means you cannot vote no matter what, so I really thought I would some objective and insightful comments. But all I got was the same rubbish the americans are spewing about thier own candidates. The people spewing rubbish and obviously supporting Palin or extremely against Obama must be americans, because these stupid remarks are not the remarks made by none-american intelligent people. Please do us a favour and don’t post your comments on this site, we are more interested in insightful dialogue.

The original contains no specific mention of “Muslims”:

The Republican Party has been high-jacked by the religious right as McCain’s selection of Palin proves. I thought McCain might bring some sanity to back to the party but it turns out experience does count and he is following the George Bush/Carl Rove play book of appealing to the “Gun tottin, God fearin” mob with his choice of Sarah Palin. The least you can say for George Bush is that he picked Cheney, whatever you may think of him, he is no light weight. Another trait about McCain that makes me very uncomfortable is his quick shoot from the hip decision making process. His selection of Palin seems to be a perfect example of this. This seems very similar to George W. Bush’s decision making methodology which landed us in $3 Trillion and counting war without end. And I’m not a democrat. I voted for Bush the first go around. But McCain just doesn’t seem to have the necessary personality traits to be an effective executive. He lost my potential vote for good with his selection of Palin.

John Mc-Brilliant made the right choice for VP. Sarah Palin is a real American. She brings a breath of fresh air and offers change we can believe in. She has more executive and leadership experience than any candidate.

Obama “HOPES” we won’t notice how many times he has “CHANGED” his mind. He has based his entire campaign on lies. He has too many ties to terrorists and anti-Americans (Ayers, Rezko, Said, Farrakhan, Pfleger, Wright ['God Damn America'], etc.).

If you are the leader of a country — or a business for that matter, there are no “present” votes. That’s how Obama voted most of the time. He worked 142 days in the Senate and spent the rest of the time running for president. He cannot be trusted.

Obama will bankrupt America — especially with his capital gains taxes. His death tax will hurt our children and grandchildren. He is not experienced enough to run this country.

John McCain has worked for our country for all of his adult life. He has earned my vote!
