I am disappointed but not surprised. It is interesting that popular vote was much closer than many of the pollsters had it.
It doesn't look like the dems will get 60 in the senate, though they may get close. I am saddened that Libby Dole has lost her senate seat. I'm still waiting to see if Murtha lost his seat.Overall a very bad night for the GOP. This is the victory of style over substance. I am not very optimistic about the next few years for our American friends. obamessiah and his protectionist union friends may make life much tougher for us here in Canada as well.
