Recharge your video camera. Tell Barack Obama what you think he should do when he becomes president. Read on, for an opportunity for citizens around the world to be heard by television viewers in the USA.

Here are two separate media initiatives asking for global citizen input on video about the world's most talked about election in history.

WorldFocus, a Thirteen/WNET television program in the USA and Ground Report are asking for videos to be submitted before the end of today. In her own video announcing the project, Ground Report's Rachel Sterne, asks for videos like the one below from Singapore.

On Reuters, a new project called Postcards to the President, combines professional street interviews by Reuters correspondents with videos uploaded by YouTube users around the world. If you have videos you would like to add to the Reuters lineup, simply upload them to YouTube and tag them “PostcardstoPresident”.

One person who has done this already is French artist and YouTube user “bernardodegalves”.

Another is French poet and musician “MickeyZero79″.

    1. Manus Says:

The main probe is not how allies and friends react to the Obama’s election but those that see America as their mortal arch enemy. The challenge ahead of us will be how Obama ruptures from an unbroken Democratic tradition, as the war-making of presidents Truman, Kennedy, Johnson, Carter and Clinton have demonstrated in the past.
This is a “truly exciting and historic moment in US history”, and “Change” will only occur when the game itself is challenged. Is Obama capable and able to make a halt to “The world of great-power rivalry” within the American political machinery of power and crippling influences to the American diplomacy from abroad?
Or, like all previous American presidents, past and present, Obama is a hawk and an expansionist??!!
So far, there is nothing that inspires hope about the new administration at all. The rhetoric of “Change” is starting to look slowly but surely like old politics and business as usual. The Obama administration is already looking like a Minyan. These Democrats “Straussian” Bush-lite Leo-cons disciples do alarm many people in the world, and strike the fear on the heart of billions of human beigns.
