The main probe is not how allies and friends react to the Obama’s election but those that see America as their mortal arch enemy. The challenge ahead of us will be how Obama ruptures from an unbroken Democratic tradition, as the war-making of presidents Truman, Kennedy, Johnson, Carter and Clinton have demonstrated in the past.
This is a "truly exciting and historic moment in US history", and “Change” will only occur when the game itself is challenged. Is Obama capable and able to make a halt to “The world of great-power rivalry” within the American political machinery of power and crippling influences to the American diplomacy from abroad?
Or, like all previous American presidents, past and present, Obama is a hawk and an expansionist??!!
So far, there is nothing that inspires hope about the new administration at all. The rhetoric of “Change” is starting to look slowly but surely like old politics and business as usual. The Obama administration is already looking like a Minyan. These Democrats “Straussian” Bush-lite Leo-cons disciples do alarm many people in the world, and strike the fear on the heart of billions of human beigns.
